Christy was born in Oakdale to Alton (Bud) Rieger and Dorothy Palmer Rieger. They brought her home to their house in Valley Home, CA where she attended grammar school and Oakdale High School. She met and married Sam Smart also of Oakdale in 1972. They had two sons, Clif and Steven. Christy worked at the Hershey Plant in Oakdale for many years then moved to the Sierras holding various jobs including, two of her favorite at the Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and Dardanelles Resort. JANE BOGGIE ELLIOTT

Jane, born July 14, 1937, passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2017. She is predeceased by her parents Edwin and Frances Boggie. She is survived by her husband Jim. They married in August 1956, then remarried in August 2005. Jane is remembered by her five daughters; Kathleen, Jean, Judy, Lorijane, and Karen; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dale and Bill Boggie; three nieces; one nephew, and many cousins and friends.
