HAROLD CHRISTIAN NOBBE

A native of Livingston, Ca, Harold passed away at Valley Comfort Assisted Living in Modesto at the age of 93. He had been a resident of Oakdale for the past 40 years. Harold was blessed with great health and a long life. He required no prescription drugs, but did take 2 multi-vitamins a day. Until the day he died, he had excellent vision, beautiful penmanship, and drove his cars, accident free. In high school, he excelled in tennis and music. LEE RODDY

Lee Roddy, age 95 who grew up in Oakdale, and authored 60-plus books, died February 2nd, 2017 in his Grass Valley retirement home. Roddy is survived by Cicely, his wife of 69 years; a son, Steve Roddy, daughter-in-law Katie, both of Lake Wildwood, Nevada County; daughter Susan (Peter Dodds) Roddy, and two grandsons, Patrick O'Shaughnessy Roddy and Zachary de Haas, all of the San Francisco area. Surviving siblings are brothers Jim Roddy and Jack Roddy and sisters, Helen Schneider and Belle Roddy.

Christi Drewrey left this earth on February 9th, 2017. Christi enjoyed football - big 49ers fan, wrestling (especially John Cena), cooking and shopping. She is survived by her son Kyle Hayes, her mom and dad, several brothers and sisters, and many friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 11th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sierra Foothills Church in Oakdale.
