Fishing Report

I'm sure we all have heard the saying "Change is a good thing." Well, recently I got away from the Delta and spent a couple of days fishing New Hogan Lake. The weather was perfect, and the fish were biting. New Hogan Lake is run by the US Army Corps of Engineers and is one of the cleanest lakes that I've been to in a long time. “Jane” Due At State Theatre

Drawing from over 100 hours of never-before-seen footage that has been tucked away in the National Geographic archives for over 50 years, award-winning director Brett Morgen tells the story of Jane, a woman whose chimpanzee research challenged the male-dominated scientific consensus of her time and revolutionized our understanding of the natural world. Valley Home News

Our Valley Home School parade on Halloween Day was a huge success! A very special "Thank You" goes out to Stanislaus Consolidated firefighters, Dan Cummins, Dustin Andersen, and Dan Lopes. After working most of the night on a house fire, they came to Valley Home to hand out sweet treats to grateful goblins. Having them here made our day very special!
