Countdown To Relay

Time is ticking down until the start of Oakdale's 10th annual Relay For Life, the signature fundraising event of the American Cancer Society.

Police Chasing Firebug

Oakdale Police are reporting four separate arson fires - all involving vehicles - that occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 26, between roughly 2:45 a.m. and 4:25 a.m.

Police said all four cases were determined to be arson, with the vehicles fully engulfed in flames when firefighters and officers arrived. The first call, just before 2:45 a.m., resulted in a Jeep being burned in the 400 block of East F St. The second call came in a half hour later, in the 1200 block of East D, where an Oakdale Joint Unified School ...
