A boy, Goavani Guillermo Castelar-Carrillo, was born September 24, 2009 to expectant parents Carlos Felipe Castelar and Amelia Carrillo of Riverbank. The newborn weighed seven pounds, 11 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home was older sibling Francia Castelar Carrillo.

Jose Luis Carrillo and Isabel Villasenor are the maternal grandparents.

Luis Felipe Castelar and Elsa Trujillo Antolino of Riverbank are paternal grandparents.
