Reba Morgan has returned from Texas where she visited with friends in Fort Worth and enjoyed the good food there. She then went to her nephew’s home for Thanksgiving. She did not enjoy the five dogs at that home! Reba flew back home and said she was glad to be back to her California friends!

Jim and Diane Boyer are enjoying a visit from son Stuart and his wife Rosalie, down from Montana where Stuart has a church. The couple is expecting a baby in two months. Diane can’t wait for a new granddaughter!

The Knights Ferry Creamery will be closed December 16th through January 24th for renovations. Come on in to get your holiday party ice cream by the scoop or by the liter before then.

The 2,384-acre Willms Ranch got approval to break up the ranch into 40 to 70 acre parcels by the Stanislaus Planning Commission.  The family said the break-up was not for houses, but for different kinds of agriculture.

The Christmas dinner at the Community Clubhouse was well attended. The hall was decorated with all the trimmings of the Holiday season. There was lots of yummy food provided by the club and members. The Oakdale High School Choir, under the direction of Bryan Mills, entertained the audience with many holiday songs, including a sing-a-long of Christmas favorites. There were many gifts and food under the tree for the less fortunate. It was a very enjoyable evening.
