It has been a wet time in the Ferry. The attendance at the Sunday Breakfast was down, no bicycle riders and many stayed out of the weather.

Congratulations go out to Knights Ferry students who had a perfect 4.0 GPA for the first trimester: Matthew Wolf, Rilyn Cassaretto, Eden Cassinetto, Wyatt Dickens, Austin Santillo, Alyssa Sisco, Kaeli Sweet, Julia Nilsson and Ray Patton. Those students with a 3.0 to 3.9 GPA were: Dylan Anderson, Hayden Cassaretto, Tate Cassaretto, Luke Dickens, Anthony Neely, Dakota Voortman, Olivia Doshas, Alex Arias, Destiny Machado, Braden Sousa, Mikali Willis, Tyden Baker, Brooks Bonde, Angel Limon, Dayne Sturtevant, Sergio Garcia, Aleesha Harden, Kylee Sisco and Elise Seeds. They were all honored at an assembly. Keep up the good work!

Phil and Carmen Frymire were surprised with a 60th anniversary party at “The House of Beef” given by their children Lisa Dolling, Phillip Frymire and Rose Paulat and their spouses. Some of the original wedding party were also in attendance.

Tomorrow, December 6th is the Community Club’s Christmas dinner at the clubhouse at 6:00p.m. All are welcome; you do not have to be a member. The Oakdale High School Choir will be providing the entertainment. The club will provide the meat and drink. Please bring a side or salad and canned food and unwrapped toys for the underprivileged. Club members decorated the hall and it looks very festive. Every year this dinner is a great way to start December.

The results are in for the Knights Ferry School’s Jog-a-thon. There was an assembly to honor those students who brought in the most money and those who ran the most laps. Top student to bring in the most money was Tyden Baker, second was Makena Mendonca and third was Aubrey Mendonca. The Third and Fourth Grade class gets a pizza party for bringing in the most money per student and the Kindergarten and Sixth grade got the spirit trophies. Running the most laps for the K- 4 grades were Marcada Baker and Luke Dickens. Running the most laps for the 5-8 grades were Dayne Sturtevant and Julia Nilsson. Money raised helps defray the cost of field trips and extra supplies.
