Dear Editor,

I recently had the opportunity to spend three 12-hour days with the lady Volunteers of Oak Valley Hospital at a Skills Fair. I can’t tell you how impressed I was with these ladies who spend hours of their free time to make our hospital run smoothly and user friendly. It was a joy to watch them interact with the people who came through this activity … so genuine, friendly, warm, fun and knowledgeable. I would like to personally thank the following ladies for making our hospital a class act: Brenda Blount, Josie Costa, Beverly Haidlen, Patty Hoddy, Gloria Lien, Ava Loeffer, Karen Nielson, Ester Nishikawa, Mickey Peabody, Frankie Rebiskie and Shirley Vieira.
