A son, Jovani Chacon-Viera, was born Sept. 30, 2012 to expectant parents Ignacio Viera and Mary Lou Chacon-Viera of Riverbank.

The newborn weighed seven pounds, seven ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Mary Lou Chacon.

Welcoming home their new baby brother were big brothers Ignacio, Marcos, Damian, and big sisters Leighvi and Mariela.

Mark and Vickie Chacon of Riverbank are the maternal grandparents.

Fernando Viera and the late Oliba Viera of Mexico are the paternal grandparents.
