Mark A. McGlothin, 51, died Thursday, Sept. 27 following a three-year illness at Doctors Hospital, Modesto.

He was born in Avenal before moving to Oakdale at the age of two years. He attended Oakdale schools, graduating from Oakdale High School in 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; son, Nick; daughter, Melanie; mother, Delores Soto; stepfather, Vidal Soto; sisters, Judy Archibeque, Sheila Kullbom; stepsister, Sandra Holt, all of Oakdale.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe B. McGlothin; brothers, Joe B. McGlothin, Jr., Bobby R. McGlothin; sister, Kathy McGlothin; and stepfather, Don Arpoika.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4 at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson.
