A 61-year-old man was killed Wednesday, Sept. 26 around 7:46 p.m. when he was struck by a Honda minivan traveling eastbound on F Street driven by a 72-year-old Oakdale woman.

The identity of the pedestrian has been withheld pending family notification.

According to police reports, the pedestrian was crossing F Street at Wood Avenue when he was struck. The driver and her passengers did not sustain any injuries. The collision is under investigation and any additional information should be given to the Oakdale Police Department. Modesto Police Department traffic unit assisted with the investigation of the collision.
