A girl, Ashley Nicole Torres, was born Aug. 26, 2012 to expectant parents Edwin Torres and Maria Reyes of Riverbank.

The newborn weighed six pounds, five ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Liduvina and Roberto Reyes of Riverbank are the maternal grandparents.

Emilia and Ezequiel Torres of Riverbank are the paternal grandparents.
