A girl, Avalynn Grace Hall, was born July 16, 2012 to expectant parents James and Amanda Hall of Waterford.

The newborn weighed eight pounds, one ounce upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Amanda Taliaferro.

Welcoming home their new baby sister were siblings Abbygail, Quinten and Bella.

Joyce Cantrell of Turlock and Daniel Taliaferro of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents. George and Sylva Taliaferro of Oakdale are the maternal great grandparents.

Paulette Mondragon of Oakdale is the paternal grandmother. Leonard James Hall of Louisiana is the paternal grandfather.
