Birthday greetings for the month of July go out to: Gordon Griesner, Kathy Mangante, Diane Boyer, Kay Martinelli, Bonnie Witzke, Vira Segni, Beverly Brunker, Tasha Sweet, Shasta Duckworth, Shae Serpa, John Simons, Joey Miller, Riley Miller, Horst Kaiser, Jean Naccarato, Kylea Coston, Kaitlin Burke, Chris Roek, Kaitlin Van Ryn, Lina Nilsson, Darla Viohl, Maureen McKibban, Michael McKibban, Wyatt Souza, Sophie Schwandt and Kylee Sisco.
Dick Muniain was raking leaves on his Frymire Road property when he spotted a rattlesnake at his feet! He quickly dispatched it. It was about 10 inches long and now he is wondering where its brothers and sisters are!
Patti Van Ryn is home from a two-week trip to Europe where she and her sister Kristen had a beautiful pilgrimage to Medjugorie (in Bosnia/Croatia).
The clubhouse is looking good. The trim is now painted a dark green and the whole building looks great. Thanks Ray McCartney for taking on this project for your Eagle Scout Badge!
Welcome back Danielle Frymire! She has returned from the mid-west and doesn’t miss the humidity at all. Danielle is working in the Bay Area 4 days a week and lives on a ranch for 3 days. She is glad to be back.
Former Knights Ferry student Max Hummer has completed his 90-day training for Composite Engineering in Roseville. The company works on Aerial Defense Drones. Max is enjoying his work.
Sean and Kim McCarthy and children River, Tristan and Savanna along with Kim’s parents Darlene and Ray, and Kim’s brother Matt, his wife Christie and children Ian and Charlotte, have returned from vacationing in our local mountains. They stayed in a cabin in the woods and did day trips.

They went to Calaveras Big Trees where Tristan was awed by their size. They went to Columbia and panned for gold and took a ride in the horse drawn carriage. River decided she would rather collect turquoise than gold. The group swam in Pinecrest Lake and went to Kennedy Meadows where Tristan caught a fish. They toured the Train Museum and rode a train in Jamestown. Kim said there was a lot to see and do just in our area.
