Since the prep golf season has an early postseason, Oakdale High’s boys golf team had the first chance of any Spring program on campus to secure a Sac-Joaquin Section title. They made the most of this opportunity on May 8 at the Division IV SJS Championships at the Diablo Grande Golf and Country Club in Patterson.

With league rival, East Union, pressing for conference revenge, Oakdale carded a superb 402-stroke score to claim first place. The team effort earned Oakdale a third consecutive division title.

The Mustang golfers also nab collective Athlete of the Week honors from The Leader for their efforts.
