A girl, Trinity Dorena Rivas, was born April 24, 2012 to expectant parents Savanna Rivas and Michael Castor of Oakdale. The newborn weighed seven pounds, seven ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Dorena and Mark Rivas of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.

Joey Castor and Mary Phillips of Texas are the paternal grandparents.
