In the “Let’s Clarify, Shall We?” letter submitted by Michelle Burke in the April 18 issue of The Leader, she inadvertently omitted a portion of a statement.

The sentences in question in her letter read: “Pat failed to mention all employees received their natural 3 percent increase including the teachers, one of which is topped out in their educational column but can easily move over. Two were new, so in essence only one teacher received the three percent.”

It should have read: “Pat failed to mention all employees received their natural 3 percent increase including the teachers, one of which is topped out, and two are topped out in their educational column but can very easily move over. Two were new so in essence the one teacher received the 3 percent.”
