Bernice Ann ‘Barney’ Albright, 79, died Tuesday, Jan. 24 with her family by her side at Oak Valley Hospital.
She was born in Monteer, Missouri. She moved to California in 1948 and resided in various cities until she made her home in Oakdale in 1976.
Ms. Albright drove bus for 30 years, where she got the name Barney.
She was a member of the VFW and The Moose Lodge.
She enjoyed playing cards, games, crocheting, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Glenn) Pierson; sons, Wayne (Judi) Albright, Benny (Sally) Albright; five grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel, 830 West F St.
