Dear Editor,

It does not matter ‘what side you are on’ in D.C., the sniping just keeps going on. Both sides seem to spend more time attacking the other side than doing the business of the country. I am also seeing this happen in Oakdale.

Now that the election is over I hope the letters to the editor will offer positive suggestions for Oakdale and not just attack the ‘other side’. When I read these letters and hear some of the comments at the council meetings my first thought is, “poor loser.” Let’s work together to help the citizens of Oakdale. Also, please don’t slant the facts to make reality sound different. Some people believe something just because they read it. They don’t take the time to do research and discover the truth.
