Oak Valley Community Bank announced the promotions of June Lopez to Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager and Kimberly Karp to Assistant Customer Service Manager. Both Lopez and Karp work in the Bank’s full-service branch in Escalon, located at 1910 McHenry Ave.
Lopez has 18 years of banking experience and has been with Oak Valley Community Bank since 2002. She was instrumental in the opening of the Escalon branch, serving as Customer Service Manager.
“This promotion is in recognition of June’s outstanding performance and dedication to the Bank and its customers. She is pro-active in developing business and builds relationships in the community. She is very deserving of this promotion,” said Wendy Burth, Executive Vice President of Retail Banking.
A resident of Stanislaus County since 1989, Lopez is very much a part of the community. She and her husband, Jose, have three children and currently reside in Oakdale.
Karp began working at Oak Valley Community Bank in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative. A long time resident of the Central Valley, she currently resides in Escalon with her husband and two children.
“Kim’s ‘customer first’ attitude and willingness to go the extra mile is a great fit with Oak Valley’s philosophy. She continually demonstrates a great understanding of outstanding customer service, a strong work ethic, and a passion for operational excellence,” said Burth.
Oak Valley Bancorp operates Oak Valley and Eastern Sierra Community Bank, through which it offers a variety of loan and deposit products to individuals and small businesses. The company currently operates through 12 branches: Oakdale, Sonora, Turlock, Stockton, Patterson, Ripon, Escalon, two branches in Modesto, and three branches in the Eastern Sierra Division, which includes Bridgeport, Mammoth Lakes and Bishop.
