Antonio Plascencia and Norma Velarde of Escalon welcomed the arrival of their son, Josue Felipe Plascencia on June 9, 2011. The newborn weighed seven pounds, 13 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
Welcoming the newcomer home were siblings Nancy, Luis Angel, Sexton Valentin Velarde and Ivan Plascencia.
Andres and Lourdes Velarde of Escalon are the maternal grandparents.
Miguel Plascencia and Abigail Venegas of Mexico are paternal grandparents.
