Jesse Edward Nielson, Jr.

Jesse Edward Nielson, Jr., 83, died Sunday, June 19.
He was born in Oakdale to Anita (Rudi) Nielson and Jesse Nielson, Sr. He attended local schools and graduated from Oakdale High School in 1946.
He married his high school sweetheart, Betty, in 1948. They lived on their 26-Mile Road ranch since 1963.
Mr. Nielson owned Nielson’s Sight and Sound (a Magnavox store) from 1972 to 1984. He belonged to the Oakdale Masonic Lodge, the Aahmes Shrine Club, and the Oakdale Dinner Club.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Nielson.
All of his friends and family are invited to his memorial and potluck reception at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 324 College Ave., Modesto. Date to be announced. For more information contact Jeff via e-mail at jeffen7@yahoo.com.
