  Robert ‘Bob’ F. Nelson, 68, died on Thursday July 23 at his home in Don Pedro after suffering from a long illness.

Mr. Nelson was born on Dec. 16, 1940 and had worked as a handyman in the valley for over 40 years and was known as a “Jack of all trades.”

He is survived by his partner of 36 years, Lola Ward; five stepchildren; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later time.

The family requests that all remembrances be made to Modesto Community Hospice.
