A girl, Alizay Cardoso, was born June 4, 2011 to proud mother Shaylee Cardoso of Oakdale. The newborn weighed six pounds, two ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Gary Cardoso and Christine Bales of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.
