Chocolate Festival Brings Fun, Yum To Oakdale

This marks the 19th year for Oakdale’s annual Chocolate Festival. The “Cowboys and Chocolate” themed event happens Saturday, May 21 from 9a.m. – 6p.m. and Sunday, May 22 from 9a.m. – 5p.m. Folks will be lining up on Chocolate Avenue, which runs through Wood Park on Yosemite Avenue in downtown Oakdale, to sample and purchase their favorite chocolate concoctions.

The forecast for this year’s Chocolate Festival calls for sunny weather and mild temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

An eclectic mix of more than 150 vendors will be on hand with food and craft booths. The family friendly event offers a multitude of entertainment including live bands, dance and gymnastic performances, a car show, kids area, wandering mascots, cooking demonstrations, and more.
