A baby boy, Ramon Orlando Alanis IV, was born Jan. 27, 2011 to expectant parents Ramon Alanis and Nadia Nayares of Riverbank. The newborn weighed six pounds, three ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Rolando and Patricia Saavedra and Carlos Nayares are the maternal grandparents.

Ramon and Blanca Alanis of Oakdale are the paternal grandparents.
