Four items will be up for review and discussion at the Oakdale City Council meeting on Monday, Feb. 7.

One of the items to be discussed is amending the municipal code regarding health insurance benefits for council members. Currently the council receives a $371 monthly stipend and, if they elect health insurance coverage by the city, receive an over $300 additional contribution toward health insurance. At their last meeting, the council members addressed dropping the additional health insurance benefit.

Other items up for discussion include amendments to the consolidated plan of the 2007-2012 Action Plan of the Stanislaus County Community Development Block Grant to include provisions for Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 (NSP3) Funds and amending the city’s municipal code on speed limits and radar enforcement.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday in the council chambers.
