Richard Hector Gage, 75, of Oakdale died Tuesday, June 30 at Oak Valley Hospital.
He was a native of California and lived in Oakdale for 32 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Gage had worked as an engineer for the State of California Water Resources Board for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Gage of Oakdale; children, Tamara Fernandez of Riverbank, Petra Inglis, Marlisa Bragg, both of Modesto; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be held a later date.
Oakdale-Riverbank Memorial Chapels in charge of arrangements.
