U.S. Army Reserve Sergeant Dawn Wheeler-Hogwood

U.S. Army Reserve Sergeant Dawn Wheeler-Hogwood, Alpha Company, 345th Military Intelligence Battalion, was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq on Nov. 11, 2010, in support of Operation New Dawn.

Her unit is the first Army Reserve Military Intelligence unit to be deployed to the region sine the end of combat operations was announced in September. During the yearlong deployment, Alpha Company will serve as the Corps. Analytical Augmentation Element for United States Forces Iraq (USF-I) located in Camp Victory.

She is the daughter of Stephen and Sandy Rapoza of Oakdale.
