Of Special Interest

POSTED October 13, 2010 3:29 a.m.

Dear Editor,

The upcoming election holds special interest for the voters of the Oak Valley Hospital District. I have been actively involved in the hospital for the past 16 years. I am concerned for the first time that we may be threatened with the loss of this vital piece of the community. With the current economy and the uncertainty of the health care reform, we need to be ever vigilant for this health care facility. I feel that it is time for change in the current elected board of directors.

I urge you to vote for Dr. Ed Chock, Wendell Chun and Dan Cummins for the four-year seats and for Louise Pooley-Sanders for the two-year seat.
