He was born in San Jose. He lived in the Knights Ferry and Oakdale areas for 25 years.

Mr. Scott worked as a bartender, construction worker, and forklift driver.

He enjoyed playing pool and loved dogs. He also enjoyed helping others.

He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Scott of Murphys; best friend of 17 years, Vicki ‘Cookie’ Potthoff of Oakdale and her son, Andy; brothers, Dave Scott of Georgia, Jim Scott of Auburn, Louie Scott of Angels Camp; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and his sister.
