She was a native of Newport, Arkansas. She lived in Coulterville for 25 years and previously lived in Oakdale for 25 years.
Mrs. Jones retired after 50 years in the restaurant business.
She is survived by her son, John Cornish of Coulterville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.
