Get Behind The Arts

POSTED September 8, 2010 11:44 a.m.

Dear Editor,

Oakdale’s new community theater group has talent; the performance of “Annie” was delightful! I have seen this play several times but never with such passion.

I can envision a performing arts center in Oakdale, maybe in the empty Almond Pavilion. The center could include Mr. Q’s community band, visual arts, youth groups, teen theater, concerts, and our new community theater group.

The citizens of Oakdale came together for the high school football field. I bet we could come together to support the arts.
