Luke Vieira and Amanda Dobbins have announced their plans to wed as husband and wife.

The couple has set a wedding date of May 14, 2011 and plan to wed in Oakdale.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Wesley and Debbie Dobbins of Oakdale. Cory and Wyatt Dobbins are her younger brothers. She is a 2005 Oakdale High School graduate and is currently attending Modesto Junior College. She is employed by Excel Center in Turlock.

The prospective groom is the son of Jeff and Diane Vieira of Modesto and Patti and David Johnston of Turlock. He is also a 2005 graduate of Oakdale High School and is currently employed with Associated Feed in Turlock.
