Amanda M. Padilla, 96, died Saturday, July 24 in Oakdale of natural causes.

She was born in Capulin, Colorado. She lived in Oakdale for over seven years.

She was retired and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Anthony (Shirley) Padilla, Ben (Patricia) Padilla; sibling, Andy Montoya; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Alfredo Padilla.

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5 at Cusimana Mortuary, 96 West El Camino Road, Mountain View. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 6 at St. Cyprian Church, 1133 West Washington Ave., Sunnyvale. Burial will follow the service at Gates of Heaven.
