A girl, Maci Love Tietgens, was born January 27, 2010 to expectant parents Bennett Tietgens and Reanna Varguez of San Jose. The newborn weighed seven pounds, eight ounces upon arrival at San Jose Medical-Kaiser St. Teresa.

Rommell Varguez of San Jose and the late Linda Ramirez are the maternal grandparents.

James and Marilyn Tietgens of San Jose are paternal grandparents.
