A boy, Emilio Eduardo Paredes Chavez, was born April 22, 2010 to expectant parents Emilio and Dayanne Paredes of Oakdale. The newborn weighed eight pounds, five ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Dayanne Chavez.

Grandparents included Francisco Eduardo Chavez and Consepsion Santiago Ibara of Mexico, Emilio and Maria Paredes of Oakdale.
