A girl, Jocelyn Dawn Avilla was born April 28, 2010 to expectant parents Brian Patrick and Ashley Nicole Avilla of Oakdale. The newborn weighed five pounds, three ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Ashley Nicole Light.

Don and Andria Light of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.

Jennell Avilla of Escalon is the maternal grandmother.
