Elias Limas Berroteran, 97, of Oakdale died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009.
Mr. Berroteran was a native of Mexico. He lived in Oakdale 22 years.
He was a cattle rancher for 35 years.
He is survived by his children, Lina Magdaleno of Oakdale, Helena Vargas of La Puente, Juan Berroteran of Turlock, Elvira Alvarez of Modesto, and Guadalupe Diaz of Las Vegas; 29 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Rosary was held Jan. 4 and mass was held Jan. 5, both at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Oakdale. Burial followed at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
