Happy Birthday wishes go out to a very hard working Valley Home grandma…Mrs. Shelly Carpenter. Shelly is always willing to help out wherever she is needed and she is a great organizer! She is also a wonderful grandmother to Mary Beth, Wyatt, and Emma. We appreciate all your hard work Shelly!

Also celebrating winter birthdays are Justina and Marissa Hicks. The two sisters are active in Valley Home 4-H and both are very active in the community. We are every proud of you both. Happy Birthday!

Visiting Minnesota for her birthday is Beci Mullins. We wish Beci a very happy birthday and hope she is able to stay warm in temperatures below freezing. Beci we appreciate your dedication to this community. Enjoy your trip and your birthday!

We also would like to send best wishes to the former Kristi Short and her husband Joe. Kristi and Joe were married last month in British Columbia, Victoria, Canada. Congratulations Kristi and Joe!

This Wednesday January 15th our Valley Home MAC will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the school library. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. At our last MAC meeting Supervisor O’Brien was present and community members shared their opinions on the Symbiosis event held at Woodward Reservoir. Fire Battalion Chief Paul Spani gave a very detailed report and answered questions from the audience. Valley Home School Superintendent Rolanda Des Rossiers Lewis and CHP Officer AJ Palazuelos both were present and gave much appreciated reports. Be sure to attend, the MAC meeting is a great place to get the answers to any questions or concerns you may have.

Valley Home 4-Hers Gracie and Clay Verdegaal are busy with their animal projects and will be heading to the CGLA show in early February. Both Gracie and Clay have earned many rewards and honors over the past year. Good luck to both of you!
