Happy birthday wishes to “Dad of the Year” Mr. Jeff Chrisman. Jeff is celebrating another 29th birthday this month. Happy birthday Jeff…you’re just getting started!

This was a big week for Luke Pouncy. Luke received his drivers license and is now legal to drive his big midnight black Ford pickup that he loves so much! Valley Home is proud of you Luke!

We would like to take this opportunity to say a very heartfelt thank you to a wonderful family. The Monschein family, Karen, husband Mike and daughters Amanda and Kristi have long been supporters of most everything that happens in Valley Home. Thank you to this caring family.

Speaking of Valley Home School, we offer a big thank you to Erin Wells and Dariene Airola who did an excellent job with the Parent Teacher Club pie sales. The pies were delicious and very reasonably priced. We’re looking forward to next year.

Congratulations to the new members of the Valley Home School Board. Julie Haynes and Chris Hempleman are both very intelligent and fair- minded. Both will be an invaluable asset to our school board.

Valley Home School and Valley Home 4-H are working together to collect canned goods for Thanksgiving baskets. Anyone wishing to donate can contact the school or any Valley Home 4-H member.

Oakdale High student and athlete Nathan Soares is recuperating after having surgery. We wish you a speedy recovery Nathan.

Congratulations to Ashley Espino and Grace May Aguirre. The two were winners in the art contest for the Stanislaus River Salmon Festival in Knights Ferry.
