Louise V. ‘Nanny’ Rhodes, 84, died Tuesday, Nov. 3.

She was born in Post Oak, TX on June 13, 1925 and lived in Oakdale 31 years.

She was a member of the Cornerstone Church of Oakdale.

She is survived by her sister, Fern Powell of Paris, TX; children, Bonnie (Jerry) Butler of Modesto, Beckie Westfall and Edgar ‘Butch’ (Ladonna) Rhodes of Oakdale; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Willie Rhodes and Eddie Rhodes.

Graveside services were held Nov. 7 at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in her name to Cornerstone Church, 522 East E St., Oakdale, CA 95361.
